When it comes to health and nutrition, Save the Children supports 121 Primary Health Care Facilities across Sudan.
In Kalamendo locality in North Darfur alone, we support 14 facilities funded by the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid, where we provide health and nutrition services to children and mothers. Take a look at the photos that tell their stories.

With being an Internally Displaced Person, comes a set of struggles in receiving basic needs in everyday life. Being an IDP mother of children – especially those Under 5, who are more prone to illnesses – who has access to healthcare can help overcome health problems and prevent many from happening in the first place.

Through the Integrated Health and Nutrition interventions for affected populations in Blue Nile State, Save the Children has developed 32 Mothers to Mothers Groups in 8 sites (4 groups per site) in Kurmuk, Gissan, and Altadamon localities in Blue Nile State, targeting 3200 mothers.
