Save the Children provides Health and Nutrition services to the most vulnerable communities in the Blue Nile State

Through the Integrated Health and Nutrition interventions for affected populations in Blue Nile State, Save the Children has developed 32 Mothers to Mothers Groups in 8 sites (4 groups per site) in Kurmuk, Gissan, and Altadamon localities in Blue Nile State, targeting 3200 mothers.

Conflicts in South Kordofan for nearly a decade has left many children vulnerable, out of school, and in need of urgent humanitarian assistance. South Kordofan has recently become accessible due to the peace dialogue that resulted in signing the peace agreement between the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) rebel alliance and the Civilian-led Transitional Government of Sudan on 3 October 2020.

Save the Children with funding from the European Union Supports the Government of Sudan In Response to the 2020 Sudan Floods

(Khartoum, Sudan, Oct 8, 2020) – Save the Children International (SCI), funded by the European Union’s Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), is bringing more than 100 tonnes of emergency relief supplies to assist the Government of Sudan in responding to Sudan 2020 Floods.
